Green Tech

Our planet is being seriously overloaded with highly inefficient energy production technologies. The fossil fuel economy is great for oil companies but not so great for the planet or for the rest of us. We have to pay expensive utility bills and also we have to be chained for stone age old polluting energy technologies which make permanent damage to our environment.

Things need to change and believe me or not there are much more alternatives for energy production than just the poorly perfoming solar power and wind energy. The most radical and disruptive ones will be hydrogen which can be produced on-demand just from water and sunlight and future Zero Point Energy related energy devices which can harvest energy apparently from "nothing". We shall also not forget good old Cold Fusion which was initially suppressed by the mainstream science but recently re-emerged with a new name: LENR (Low-Energy Nuclear Reactions). Cold Fusion seems to be also well alive and actively researched for example by the US Navy.

But lets start with Hydrogen. First Hydrogen car prototypes were already available in 1970s but the development has not really progressed due to the focus being on fossil fuel based engines. Hydrogen based economy should be already here since the technology is ready, and has been for a long time. However it seems its much more about electric cars at the moment (which by the way were also popular before the "petrol" engine won the game). The problem with electric cars is that the electricity production is still mostly done with fossil fuels or nuclear fuels which are not good for the environment. Unless we have a 100% clean source for electricity then electric cars are not that much better for the environment than conventional cars. Also the existing battery technology has still some major issues.

Anyway if oil companies talk about hydrogen economy they will demonstrate that everything else remains the same, except that you just fill in hydrogen. This is very true - one thing they do not mention is that hydrogen can be produced safely on demand with very low cost technology. In hydrogen economy oil companies are simply not required since extraction or logistics are not needed just short term storage. I guess that is a reason for the hydrogen economy not really catching on.

One very interesting proposition in this field are the various Hydrogen Highway proposals around the world. Especially interesting is the one being built in the east coast (US) based on the water / solar panel approach (Wired article here). Filling stations will serve hydrogen cars and no supply chain or expensive extraction is required. Just some sunlight and water. And did I mention that there is no emissions - this is 100% totally clean energy. There are many ways to produce hydrogen but it can simply be produced using a solar panel / wind power and water supply nothing else is required. Also note that modern petrol engines can be converted to run with hydrogen so what are we waiting for?

One problem with Hydrogen is storage. However one US company called United Nuclear  has solved the problem completely using a certain alloy isotype which bonds with Hydrogen making the storage completely safe. Hydrogen is released when the alloy plates are warmed up (so it is controllable). So even the storage problem has been solved. No need for massive lead tanks.

Even Arnie has been a big promoter of Hydrogen, he even has a Hydrogen car but apparently he is not allowed to use it. Why is that? Seems there is lots of hidden obstacles everywhere in this industry. Oil companies do not like things like these.

I guess there is no or little profit on this for the oil companies so this is not really catching on. Some companies are even selling hydrogen production units for home use. Just fill in at your home. Fantastic for us and the environment. Just a little problem - how would the energy companies then make money?

Moving to Cold Fusion. There are many laboratories around the world now investigating this phenomenon called Low-Energy Nuclear Reaction. It is not yet fully understood but can be now reproduced with better success than before. Cold Fusion based power plants could replace nuclear reactors and we would get really low cost energy distributed through the existing electric grid. Why would US Navy research this actively if this is not a viable energy production system. Also many independent researchers on YouTube seem to be re-producing the phenomenon with relative ease. Just search YouTube for Cold Fusion. One good video is here

Zero Point energy is of course much more controversial since it is tapping into a completely unknown energy source. At least unknown to most of us but known for many scientists since 50s. Quoting David Bohm from his book "The Essential David Bohm":

"What is implied by this proposal is that what we call empty space contains an immense background of energy, and that matter as we know it is a small, "quantized" wavelike excitation on top of this background, rather like a tiny ripple on a vast sea." (from page 98).

Extracting energy from vacuum does sound like science fiction. However it can be proven scientifically to be the exact opposite. There is simply no shortage of energy in the universe - electrons keep spinning forever and planets do revolve around the stars in a non-stop fashion. Even the amount of energy our Sun produces is a mystery to our current accepted scientific knowledge - out of somewhere more energy is being produced.

This somewhere or "nothing" is the sea of energy that the entire universe is floating on. This zero point energy sea has unlimited power. We just need to tap on it. Obviously this device has to be invented but if we would focus all best minds on this problem we would solve this quickly. However where is the incentive for Governments and Oil Companies on this? It's not even about money, in the end it's about control. If Governments loose control on energy production this would mean serious changes for politics. I guess we won't be seeing this device for a while - since it would be "dangerous to the national security". It's a big shame since we need things like this to move on as a society.

There even seems to be a device which was built by T. H. Moray - it was witnessed by hundreds and even notarized witness statements can are available as a proof that the device was working at the time. If this is the case this has been a zero point energy device. More information from The House of Moray website which is run by T. H. Moray's son who also saw the device functioning at the time. The device in the end was destroyed apparently by a foreign intelligence agent.

If you want to learn more about zero point energy just search for Zero Point Energy or look for You Tube clips on the subject. Other good resources are PESWiki and Panacea-BOCAF

We need a change in the discussion on the alternative energy production scheme to much more radical, transformational technologies which would benefit the mankind in general and not just the fat shareholders of the grand oil companies. The only way to lasting peace is through cheap energy production but too many companies on this planet make too much money from wars so this is another reason preventing peace.

We need a change and we need it now. Follow my Green Energy posts under the #Alt Energy tag. You should also watch this video from Dr Steven Greer.
